Actual is a fast, secure, self-hosted, open source personal finance tool. Much like YNAB, Actual implements budgeting based on a monthly envelope system. Guided Tour A mobile app is available for iPhones and iPads so that available amounts (in envelopes) can be viewed before spending money.

Actual is available on the LAN at http://10.1.1.8:24480 or externally at https://budget.tikishack.com

Setup was quick and easy using this docker-compose.yaml:
