Dokuwiki is a wiki - a website that allows collaborative editing of its content and structure by its users.

I chose Dokuwiki for documenting my homelab based on:

• Easy of installation and use
• Its use of flat files rather than a database
• Low system resource requirements
• Active user and developer community
• Large variety of useful extensions (including one that hides sensitive information from all eyes but mine)
• Open Source
